Positive Pay service helps protect against losses due to check fraud by performing a daily reconcilement of issued checks against those presented for payment. First Citizens Bank will provide daily notification of the exceptions via the Internet. This notification will include an image of the item as well as the reason the check was identified as an exception. You will then have the ability to make pay/return decisions on each exception item.
